NAIROBI, Kenya – Fursa Education, an education technology company based in Nairobi, announced today that it provides digital learning resources to institutions across several African countries. The resources cover African and international curriculum topics, including educational videos, lesson plans, quizzes, and more.
“We are passionate about improving education access and quality across Africa,” said Fatma Yusuf, Head of Content of Fursa Education. “Our digital resources enable schools to supplement limited textbooks and other materials at an affordable cost.”
Many African educational institutions need more resources due to funding and infrastructure challenges. Fursa aims to help bridge this resource gap with its digital repository that any connected device can access. The materials are available in English and other languages and are tailored to various African curriculums.
“A child’s access to resources should not depend on geography or income level,” Ms. Yusuf explained. “With technology, we can distribute quality educational content widely to support student learning.”
The company focuses specifically on creating materials for STEM and language arts subjects. Fursa plans to expand further across the continent in the coming months.
“This is just the beginning – we envision reaching millions of African students in the years ahead,” said Ms. Yusuf. “Education holds the key to unlocking human potential, no matter where you are born.”
